I arrived here at am because of a delayed flight. I walked into reception and the first thing I saw was a large group of men being served by half naked prostitutes I went to my room to settle down for the night and have a shower. No hot water in the shower and wifi in the hotel wasn't working! I went to sleep and woke up the next morning to try and find the manager. I was told there is no manager to talk to by a member of staff who could barely speak English.
When I finally found the sheepish looking manager, I told him the complaints and all he could say was "sorry sorry", I told him if he couldn't compensate me somehow that I would be leaving a terrible review, I don't think he understood me either. I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, waiting for my flight on the Sunday. In my 2 days there, I didn't see even 1 other customer even though Agoda. The hotel looks nice but it is run by people who just don't care.
For quite an expensive hotel with good reviews I was extremely disappointed. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this was the worst hotel experience I've I don't like to leave bad reviews but this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Thanks for nothing Tewa "boutique" hotel. Decided to give the restaurant a go and I was not disappointed.
The Thai food was very delicious and quite reasonably priced. The restaurant is located quite deep in the soi which meant it was nice and quiet. I will certainly be back for more. I chose this hotel as it looked a nice place to stay while waiting to fly out from Don Muang the next day. It is in a beautiful setting, very lush and quiet and down in a remote residential location. The decor is dark teak Thai style, rooms large and the pool nice, except that it needed to be cleaned of dead leaves and flowers.
I think we were the only ones staying and the staff spoke little English. The lock on the door didn't work so they changed our room. TV had no English channels. Breakfast was "American" but it was eggs, cold ham and toast served with a salad thick with mayonnaise.
