I reserved two rooms and went and checked in. The clerk was not friendly and when we asked him if they had a washer and dryer he said there is some out there and he doesn't know if they work or not. This location was suppose ably remodeled. When we went into the rooms there was a strong odor of something weird in one of the rooms. These were connecting rooms. Within about 5 minutes my family was feeling nauseous, our heart's were racing and we felt very sick.
We immediately grabbed our stuff and left the rooms. We went to the front desk and I told the clerk I wanted my money back and that we couldn't stay there because there was an odor of possibly drugs or something and we were feeling sick.
The clerk totally flipped out and refused to give us a refund. He started screaming, yelling, said he was going to call the police and that we were not going to get our money back. He locked the door and started flipping us off. I then called the number for Motel 6 and asked for a supervisor. I spoke with a supervisor named Eric and let them know what was going on.
He told me there was nothing they could do that night and to call back the next day. I searched this location online during all this and found that this location has I searched this location online during all this and found that this location has been busted for prostitution and meth cooking in the rooms. There is an article that can be found online about this. I know now that I was placed in one of the meth rooms.
There was also a black substance on one of the beds. I ended up leaving the room keys near the night box because the clerk refused to take them back.
