You feel free to walk around enjoying realities of life. Lively till late late hours which is not so common in serious city Zurich. Just walk around and indulge yourself in the history, or have a glass of wine and a meal.
You never know what you will find. Walked the old town mingled with locals , ate great food even though costly! Easy to walk around and views or interesting streets to wonder and get lost in. Both day and night was fine and safe to take time to enjoy the area and some nice cafes and places to eat. As with most of the cities in Switzerland, the old town Zurich is definitely worth a visit.
With the lovely lake view on one side, there are good shopping options on the other side of the street. The old town area is extremely nice and clean. Saw a 68 euro box of chocolate candy. Zurich is incredibly expensive, with most cups of coffee going for well over 6 euros.
